Pasta & Focaccia Cooking Class / Sydney - Aug 8, 2026
In this Italian Cooking Class, we will learn to make pasta and focaccia from scratch. There will be some demonstration, but this is a highly practical, hands-on class, so get ready to roll up your sleeves and get right into it. We will be making

+ Instant 2-Hour Focaccia + Two Delicious Italian Sides for dipping
We will finish off by enjoying a leisurely lunch of all the delicious things we have cooked along with some wine and a traditional Tiramisu for dessert.

Who - Brimming with ideas and inspiration, this creative pasta and focaccia workshop in Sydney will be taught by Sneh Roy. You will not only learn the techniques for making pasta and focaccia from scratch, but also take away heaps of tips and tricks to overcome hurdles and troubleshoot recipes, along with delicious serving ideas.
Sneh Roy is an award-winning food and lifestyle photographer, stylist, recipe developer, designer and creator of the blog - "Cook Republic" and writer of the Substack "Hungry Curious!" Sneh is also the author of the Tasty Express cookbook published by Random House in 2014. She has worked as ELLE Australia's food columnist and most recently as Woolworths ' Food Editor.
She is the founder of the Cook Republic Cooking School, where she conducts hands-on cooking classes based on her 22 years of experience. She also regularly partners with leading Australian food and media personalities to conduct and teach food photography, food styling, visual storytelling and cookbook production via a series of sell-out pop-up workshops. Her work has been published in many leading publications worldwide - Food & Wine Magazine, Huffington Post, Feast Magazine, Delicious Australia, Inside Out Magazine, Where Women Cook, Saveur Mag, Good Food and The Daily Telegraph. She has worked with many leading brands, developing recipes and conducting photoshoots for Uncle Toby's, Coles, Lilydale Chicken, Birch & Waite, Toscano, Monini, Ninja Appliances, David Jones, Sodastream, Nespresso, Masterchef Australia, Vitamix, Campbell's, Lavazza, Tassal Salmon, Gozney and Australian Avocados. She has styled and shot cookbooks and recipe apps and produced videos and social media content for food influencers and media personalities in Australia.
Food - Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Whilst we will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies, we cannot guarantee that all requests can be met as this is a bread-making and Sourdough class. Please feel free to contact us for further information regarding this class before making a booking.
Requirements - Aprons will be provided along with recipes and workshop notes. Feel free to bring your own apron if you prefer. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes (preferably closed ).
Note - All pricing is inclusive of GST. Please choose carefully, as refunds are not given if you can't come or change your mind. You can, however, send someone else in your place by advising us at least a day in advance. Refunds will only be given if the workshop is cancelled on our end and if you are unable to come on the rescheduled date.
